Please read before booking. By reserving an appointment you agree to the following.
1. Deposit and payment
A $10 reservation deposit is charged when you book. It is non-refundable and is credited toward your final balance. The remaining balance is due upon completion of service, payable by card or cash.
2. Pricing and confirmation
Listed prices cover standard-size vehicles in average condition. Vehicle size, heavy contamination, excessive soiling, pet hair, sand, mold, biohazard, or unusual conditions may require additional time and cost. Any adjustment is quoted and approved by you before that work begins. You will never be charged for work you did not authorize.
3. Rescheduling and cancellation
You may reschedule once at no charge with at least 3 hours notice, and your deposit carries over. Cancellations, no-shows, or changes with less than 3 hours notice forfeit the deposit. If the vehicle is inaccessible on arrival, or nobody is available to grant access, this is treated as a no-show.
RAFFECT may reschedule for severe weather, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond our control. In that case your deposit is fully transferable or refundable at your choice.
4. Site requirements and access
You are responsible for providing safe, legal, and reasonable access to the vehicle, including adequate space to work around it. You confirm you have authority to permit service at the location and that any HOA, building, or municipal rules permit it. Where water or power access is required, you agree to provide it or notify us in advance so we can bring our own.
5. Vehicle condition and pre-existing damage
You confirm the vehicle is in safe, roadworthy condition and disclose any known defects, prior repairs, repainted panels, aftermarket coatings, wraps, or damaged trim. RAFFECT is not responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to: failing or previously repaired clear coat, oxidized or thin paint, existing scratches, chips, dents, rust, cracked or brittle plastic and trim, worn or torn upholstery, loose or aftermarket parts, faulty seals or weatherstripping, water intrusion through existing leaks, or electrical faults.
Detailing can reveal defects previously hidden by dirt, wax, or filler. Revealing an existing defect is not causing it.
6. Personal belongings
Please remove all personal items, valuables, electronics, documents, car seats, and anything fragile before service. RAFFECT is not responsible for loss of or damage to items left in the vehicle.
7. Results and expectations
Detailing is a cosmetic service. Results depend on the vehicle's existing condition, materials, age, and history. We do not guarantee removal of every stain, odor, scratch, swirl, water spot, etch, or blemish. Some conditions are permanent and cannot be corrected by detailing.
Rim repair is cosmetic refinishing, not wheel remanufacturing. Most repaired wheels come back looking essentially new. On deeper or more extensive damage the result is a substantial improvement rather than an exact factory reproduction. Structurally damaged, bent, or cracked wheels are outside the scope of this service and will not be repaired.
8. Warranties
Rim Repair — lifetime warranty on finish adhesion. If the paint or coating we applied lifts, peels, or bubbles on a wheel we repaired, we will refinish that wheel at no charge for as long as you own the vehicle. This covers our workmanship only. It does not cover new curb strikes, potholes, road or impact damage, corrosion originating from the wheel's interior, damage from abrasive wheel cleaners or acidic chemicals, or damage caused by another party's work.
Headlight Restoration — 2-year warranty with normal care. If haze or yellowing returns within two years, we will redo the restoration at no charge. Normal care means routine washing without abrasive polishes, compounds, solvents, or automated brush car washes on the lenses. Not covered: cracks, chips, impact damage, internal moisture or condensation, failing bulbs, ballasts or wiring, or work performed on the lenses by anyone else after our service.
Ceramic coatings carry the manufacturer's stated durability rating under normal use and maintenance. Ratings are the product manufacturer's, not an additional RAFFECT guarantee. Coating longevity depends on maintenance, wash method, storage, climate, and mileage.
All warranty claims require reasonable notice, photographs, and inspection by RAFFECT before any corrective work. Warranty remedy is limited to redoing the affected service. Warranties are non-transferable and end if the vehicle changes ownership.
9. After your service — safety notice
Freshly cleaned and conditioned surfaces can be temporarily slick. Take care with pedals, floor mats, the steering wheel, door sills, and entry areas until surfaces are fully dry and settled. Test brake and accelerator feel before driving. Ensure floor mats are correctly seated and cannot interfere with the pedals.
Cleaning and protection products may produce a temporary scent. If you are sensitive to fragrances or cleaning chemicals, tell us before service and ventilate the vehicle before driving. Do not operate the vehicle if you feel drowsy, lightheaded, or impaired for any reason.
Ceramic coatings, sealants, and trim coatings require a curing period. Follow the aftercare instructions we provide. Exposing a curing coating to rain, sprinklers, washing, or contamination may affect the result and is not covered by warranty.
10. Assumption of risk and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RAFFECT's total liability for any claim arising from services performed is limited to the amount you paid for that service. RAFFECT is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of vehicle value, missed appointments, lost income, rental or towing costs, or inconvenience.
You agree that detailing services are cosmetic in nature and are not mechanical inspection, diagnosis, repair, or maintenance. Nothing we do constitutes an assessment of the vehicle's mechanical or structural safety.
11. Photography
RAFFECT may photograph or video vehicles before, during, and after service for quality records and promotional use. License plates and identifying details are excluded or obscured. Tell us before service if you prefer your vehicle not be used promotionally.
12. Disputes and governing law
Please contact us first at (820) 800-0003 or info@raffectla.com so we can resolve any concern directly — most issues are settled quickly and at no cost to you. Any claim not resolved informally is governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Los Angeles County.
13. Accuracy of your information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the address, contact details, and vehicle information you provide. Incorrect information that prevents service being performed is treated as a no-show.
